As the 19th China International Furniture Fair (Office & Commercial Furniture) draws to an end, most exhibitors and visitors have expressed immense satisfaction with the Fair's organization and the potential for future business it can bring them. On all accounts, the 19th CIFF is a success!
At this year's Fair, the number of foreign exhibitors increased by 12 percent which added greater diversity in the exhibits. Exhibitors came from different regions and nations such as Taiwan, Germany, Malaysia, South Korea, France, and Turkey. The exhibition venue featured seven exhibition halls covering an area of about 75,000 m2; the largest of its kind in Asia.
Further subdivision of exhibition zones brought professionalism and convenience to visitors and buyers. Besides the conventional exhibition zones for Office Furniture, Public Seats and Office Furniture Fittings, two more were added this year; Steel and Hotel Furniture. This arrangement attracted a greater number of exhibitors from home and abroad. They are Sao Swn Furniture Industrial (Dong Guan), Victory Office System Holding (China), Kuo Ching Office Furniture, etc. In the Office Chair Furniture Zone, there is Lijiang Seating, etc, while in the Steel Furniture Zone there is Merryfair Office Furnitue, Medida Furniture Manufacturing and so on. In addition, Gotop Furniture, Westband Group and Orgatec Group from Germany have participated in the Hotel Furniture Zone for the first time.
One exhibitor commented that the new subdivisions helps these enterprises to stand out.
High-tech and innovation are key themes everywhere you walk the show. People are discussing new spraying techniques, anti-bacterial furniture materials, honey comb manufacturing etc, with the goal to lower costs while at the same time putting the environment as a main concern. Some renowned Chinese furniture makers brought with them their latest products targeted for the European market, which demonstrates new advances in the development of China's furniture industry.
With the 19th CIFF already billed as being a success, anticipation is growing for the 20th CIFF. The next Fair promises to be an exciting event and one that will better reflesct the evolution of China's industry to better serve customers at home and around the world.
The autumn session of CIFF is officially rescheduled from August to September 08-11, 2008. More international buyers are expected to show up in CIFF and experience the grand event along with the excellent exhibitors.
Two main reasons are considered by organizer to reschedule the autumn session of CIFF. First of all, as the summer vacation of Europe and America is in August, which overlaps with the original show dates, the organizer made a serious decision to adjust the dates in favor of the specific buyers. Secondly, as this August will witness Beijing Olympic Games, the rescheduled CIFF in September after this magnificent event can attract more attention from buyers and media with more convenience.
Intensive Promotion Campaigns Driving More Trading Opportunities
More powerful promotion campaigns and overseas buyer recruitment have been launched with the support of the media partners and industrial associations from all over the world. The latest show information could be delivered to the target buyers through different ways. Therefore, more buyers from Europe and America are expected to visit CIFF (Sept.) and drive more trading opportunities for exhibitors.
"One-stop" Furniture Purchasing Platform
CIFF, well known as "Asia's Furniture Sourcing Center", is leading the trend of furniture industry in Asia. The modern and classical furniture will still be the main topics of CIFF (Sept.), displaying the exhibits such as living room, dining room, bedroom furniture, kitchen furniture, outdoor furniture, soft furniture etc, and providing a "one-stop" platform for international buyers.
Two shows in one building the "Whole- Home Decor" Event
CIFF and Homedecor + Hometextile China will be held under one roof in September. In accordance with the concept of "Whole-Home Decor", home textile as well as home soft decorations, including upholstery, bed coverings, curtains, fabric, carpets, mirror, lighting and clock, etc, will be exhibited under one roof with furniture products so that the two shows in one could meet the needs of buyers on one-stop platform.
With professional service as well as fully displaying diversified series of furniture and home soft decoration, the upcoming CIFF (Sept.) is worth your expectation and participation.
