Adam Kwiatkowski from the Poland president’s office tested positive for Coronavirus
Adam Kwiatkowski, a Secretary of State in the office of the Polish President Andrzej Duda announced on Friday that he has contracted the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus but feels fine and thanks well-wishers for their support.
Mr Kwiatkowski also said that he was tested after he had returned from vacation and before coming back to work. He admitted to having one of the symptoms of the disease, but did not specify which exactly.
“I feel fine – please respect my family and particularly me in the near future – I will keep you posted, how the situation is developing. Thank you for your support and prayers – IT WILL BE OKAY! :-),” Mr Kwiatkowski tweeted.
A total of 65,480 confirmed cases of the coronavirus were recorded in Poland as of Friday morning, including 2,018 fatalities.
