NBA star Kevin Durant Says He Tested Positive for the Coronavirus
Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant was among those in the NBA to have come in contact with coronavirus. He was among the names that came out a few weeks after Rudy Gobert had become the league’s first coronavirus in March.
Talking about his health in a recent interview, Durant said: “I feel good. I didn’t have any symptoms so I am good. I couldn’t leave the house. I knew things would change. The unknown was definitely difficult to deal with. But other than that, I was great.
Talking about his initial emotions when he came to know about the virus, he said: “I was shocked. And then I was curious. I wanted to know what it meant. What is the virus about? I started to get information about it more and more. It calmed me down. I was just more curious to what I was dealing with and how I could fight it myself.
Durant also talked about how his foundation has been contributing to coronavirus relief. Only the previous week, he said, they did an event in Maryland feeding 100 families.
“We’re trying to do our part somehow, some way. But I didn’t want to tell you that. I just wanted to do stuff and not say much about it,” he said.
